Joomla front end editing

Joomla is one of the few Content Management Systems to offer front end editing. This makes it super easy to edit your website and make changes as you can simply navigate to the page on your website that you want to edit and make changes directly on the page via a login link.

Through the Front End Editor you can edit text, add new text, style text, apply pre-set styling to text, insert images or videos, add hyperlinks, insert columns and tables, etc. 

Front End login

On each page of your website you will find a login link similar to the one below. Once you have navigated to the page you want to edit, you can click on this link to log in.

Enter your username and password:

Your web page will now display Edit buttons next to each block of editable content.

The Joomla Editor & Toolbar

Once you click an Edit button, an Editor will appear directly on the page.

The Editor features a comprehensive set of tools. Each icon on the toolbar is provided with an explanatory tooltip which is displayed when you hover over it.

When you have made your changes you can choose whether to save your changes and either continue editing or close the Editor, or cancel altogether.

Joomla Backend Administration

This feature is in addition to the Backend Admin System which allows the user full content management. Illustrated instructions are supplied with each website, and these are tailored to the client's specific setup.
